Wi-Fi Connection and Firmware Update
When powered on, the device's LED indicator alternates between flashing blue and orange, indicating that it is not currently connected to any Wi-Fi network. You can setup your Wi-Fi credentials using the internal GUI (Graphical User Interface). Please follow the steps below for the connection:
1. On your smart phone or laptop, go to Settings->Wi-Fi and connect to Roomsense IQ access point. The password is simply password.
2. Enter the sensor’s IP address in the web browser address bar. The sensor’s default IP address is 192.168.255.1.
3.Once the page is loaded, it's time to update the firmware to fix any bugs and issues. To do that, click this and download the firmware binary. Then select and update. It might takes up to a couple of minutes. Upon completion, a countdown timer will be displayed on the page.
4. Now you can input your Wi-Fi credentials to connect the device. Click "Connect" when finished. After a successful connection, you'll see the assigned network settings. The LED indicator will be flashing blue, showing the device is searching for an MQTT broker.
